• The Alliance for Women in Media Foundation (AWMF) is pleased to announce a record number of entries for the 2012 Gracie Awards.
• The submissions for this year’s Gracie Awards have increased 10% from 2011, and 14% from 2010.
• Each year, the Gracies recognize women who have created exceptional programming for and about women in all facets of media.
• There is an ongoing movement throughout the country to promote women in the media and increase numbers. ​
• WAMMFest, Women and Minorities in Media, is a film festival held every spring at Towson University. WAMMFest strives to celebrate and encourage women and minorities to be involved in media production.
